Books Inspire Growth

Since 2009, our events have brought together successful South Florida entrepreneurs to learn from authors on a myriad of topics. We have shared our passion for learning with over six hundred like-minded business owners over the last seven years.

What to Expect

You will be one of 20 – 25 owners of locally owned businesses who…

  • Have been investing in their business for years.
  • Are hungry and passionate about growing their business.
  • Never stop learning.

BIG Breakfast starts at 8:00 am at the Tower Club in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Everybody gets a nametag and a complimentary copy of the speaker’s book.  We make sure new guests feel welcome and get to meet some of the other attendees.

At 8:15 am, a hot breakfast is served. After a quick introduction, our guest speaker begins promptly at 8:30 am, leading a one-hour discussion. Some speakers choose to use a presentation screen, others have handouts, and some speak extemporaneously.  At 9:30 am, all attendees are invited to have their book signed by the author.

What Not to Expect

What makes BIG Breakfast special is also what we do not do:

  • We don’t make you stand up and give your elevator speech.
  • We don’t invite attorneys, bankers, CPAs, or any other advisors to business owners.
  • We don’t let you pay for anything.

Purpose

The purpose of the BIG event is to educate, inspire and connect people in a first class environment.  We feel BIG Breakfast accomplishes this better than leasing a sky box at a sports arena.

We have seen businesses acquired and merged as a result of BIG Breakfast. We’ve also seen new suppliers and customers emerge from the experience and, as a natural by-product, many attendees have become our friends and clients.

Most of all, BIG Breakfast makes us feel good about our role in the community. We get nothing but positive feedback.  There is no better foundation for building relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
